Meet Ky, your support for the journey ahead.

My Story

Hi, I'm Ky—a birth and postpartum doula based in Queens, NYC.

Somewhere between watching A Birth Story on TLC as a kid and sitting with my own life's biggest moments—loss, love, transition—I found my way to this work. I came to birth work because I believe that how we're held during the most profound passages of our lives matters deeply. I watched friends navigate birth and early parenthood without the support they deserved. I saw the statistics— the ones that make clear that women of color, especially Black women, and birthing people in this country are not being protected. And I lost my father, which taught me something irreversible about what it means to truly show up for someone in transition. Sunday Passage exists because of all of it.

Sundays have always had a rhythm for me: intentional, unhurried, and restorative. The day you pause long enough to actually feel your life. That same spirit is at the heart of this practice and the name behind it. I grew up in Metro Detroit, made my way to Brooklyn during the height of the pandemic, and have called New York home ever since.

My background is in marketing and PR, where I spent over a decade helping organizations show up thoughtfully during defining moments. Today, I bring that same experience—clear communication, thoughtful planning, and steady support—to families navigating pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.

When I'm not supporting families, I'm on my Kindle (borrow from your local library!), making playlists, practicing yoga, pulling tarot cards, or at a concert or museum somewhere in the city. My Sundays usually consist of a chai or matcha latte, brunch at a local diner, a slow walk with my partner and our dog, and that same quiet ease that started all of this.

I'm here to be present for your passage—fully, warmly, and without reservation.
